Work Package 11
Coordination and management

- Involves: Partner 1
All partners are naturally involved in this activity but separate particular duties are taken care of by the Research project office which is closely associated with partner 1.
Basic co-ordination and science management
Overall co-ordination of the project will monitor the progress of the project so as to ensure that the individual tasks are performed as planned and/or to identify necessary modifications to the workplan. If certain Work Packages encounter unforeseeable problems or if unexpected new knowledge is obtained, solutions will be reached. Reports to the EC and project meetings will be organised. The co-ordination will also take care of liaison with related international and national research efforts. We will establish a gender policy and monitor its progress. (Deliverables: Reports to the EC, detailed work plans.)
Administrative Management
Contractual matters will be handled (e.g., negotiation of Consortium Agreements and potential amendments), advice in legal matters will be provided and financial matters (e.g., financial reporting, financial flow, cost control) will be organised and delivered. Audits will be managed. (Deliverables: Cost statements, audit reports.)
Dissemination and information management
Installation of public and restricted web pages. The public web pages will inform the partners, the science communities and the general public on the results of HUE-MAN. The restricted pages will serve for the information flow among the partners (HUEMAN templates, progress reports, cost statements, work plans, links to project data, e.g., boundary conditions for model simulations, model output, presentations, etc.).
