Abstracts may only be submitted which have
The submission of abstracts is possible exclusively on the internet from 10. September 2018 - 10. December 2018 24oo CET The home page
is : http://www.uni-kiel.de/aepc/aepcAbstractSystemStart.cgi
(case sensitive!). Preliminary remarksYou must login to the system with your e-mail address and a password. You may submit several abstracts of your own or of your colleagues under one account. All communication regarding the submitted material will be done via e-mail with the submitting person. Reasons for this procedure:
There are two options for delivering the body text of the abstract:

Personal data of many colleagues are already stored as potential users either because they have submitted contributions last year or they were AEPC reviewers. These colleagues have already received their account information via e-mail.

The submitting person may specify and correct personal data. Under one account, you may submit several abstracts for yourself or for colleagues. It is also possible to change your password. To store the changes, the actual password is required. |
Your personal data are listed at the top of the window.
Your submitted abstracts are listed in the lower part of this overview. The contributions are numbered and provided with a status. Status of the abstracts:

Abstract creation / correction |
The abstract is assembled by our program using the fields
in the upper part of the form and the body text.
Structure the body text of the abstract as follows:
Do NOT enter the information of title, author(s) or institution(s) in the body text of the abstract. The reviewers need anonymous (blinded) abstracts! For the body text of the abstract you have the choice
If you decide
to upload a file you must use the provided template aepcAbstractTemplate.rtf
which can be edited with MS Word, stored and uploaded as an RTF-file.
(If you specify a file for uploading, the content of the body text box
is ignored.)
A. Preparing RTF - files:Please use the template aepcAbstractTemplate.rtf which you can download here, from the home page or the abstract creation page. We selected the RTF format, because no macro viruses can be spread in this format. The file format rtf can also be set on Microsoft Word. Please strictly obey the given template format. Adhere please accurately to this template. Replace the contents of this example with your abstract text. Rules:

After successful submission of the abstract |
The submitting person will receive an e-mail confirmation
and the abstract as an attachment. The file name contains the registration
number of the abstract.
Please check your abstract carefully to make sure all information is correct! Please inform us if you do not receive an e-mail confirmation. At this point and after every later change you may make, your contribution will be marked with the status "unchecked" (yellow). You may control the status of your abstracts by logging in again. |

We will visually examine the abstracts for formal correctness and switch the status in the overview page to OK (green). If your abstract does not have the requested format or we are not able to read some of your special characters, we will switch the status to please correct (red) and will ask you via e-mail to make the corrections online. |

the status of your abstract is 'please correct', you must log in and correct
the abstract as Independent
of the status of the submission, you may modify your abstract at any time
(before the deadline). |
