How do I search the site? All search functions can be accessed by clicking on the magnifying glass at the top of every page. Alongside the quick search for key words, persons and institutions you will also find the familiar search functions of the UnivIS system as well as links to popular search engines and other (external) information resources. How do I find the list of persons and e-mail addresses? The list of persons and email addresses can be reached from several places e.g.: Do the colours on the home page have any significance? The colour fields on the home page represent the faculties of the University of Kiel and stand for the breadth and variety offered by our university. These colours are also used for the faculty pages.Where can I find a link to the University Library? There are links to the University Library from several pages, e.g. from: Why is there no user group "Students"All information of relevance to students has been included in the main topic "Studying in Kiel". An additional link as a user group was therefore not necessary. For potential students there is the direct link "Schools" at the top of every page. Whom should I contact if I find an error on a page?In the footer of every page there are contact details (email address or telephone number) for the person responsible for maintaining that page. You should address any queries and/or recommendations to this contact person. However, the content of some pages is drawn wholly or partly from the university-wide information system UnivIS. This data is managed decentrally, i.e. by a range of people in the central administration and the faculties.
