Requested plenum lectures

During the first day of the workshop, public lectures will be given at the University of Kiel. They will on the one hand introduce the theme to a wider audience, including practical environmental managers and stakeholders, and on the other, introduce the participants to the focal workshop topics, questions and problems.

After the workshop, we are happy to offer a course on “Fuzzy Modelling Approach to Characterizing and Measuring Ecosystem Services”, which will be organized by Prof. Dr. Bailian Li from the University of Riverside in California. The course will take place at the Ecology Centre of Kiel University. For the course, an additional registration fee of about 200,00 € will be necessary. Interested participants should register for the course before March 2010.
