Counselling services for CAU members
Dear CAU members,
The coronavirus pandemic and the restrictions associated with it in our everyday private lives and working lives mean that we are all facing particular challenges – and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Some people are struggling with the impact these necessary contact restrictions have on our ability to talk to others and which result in hardly any opportunities to meet people or do activities to distract or inspire us and give us the energy to regather our strengths.
Conversations we normally have with colleagues, close friends or others we know, which are often so important when we have problems, worries or troubles, cannot take place like they usually do. For lots of us, this has caused the coronavirus crisis to also become a personal crisis that not only affects our physical health, but can also affect our mental health in many cases. Outside help sometimes becomes necessary. This is why we have put together an overview of the various services on our coronavirus information pages. This overview includes offers by our university as well as those by independent providers who can give help and support with private and work-related problems.
They are a helping hand, regardless of what is currently troubling you – so please don’t be afraid to reach out and take it!
With best regards,
Claudia Ricarda Meyer
