kieler uni live @ Kiel Week 2023

The largest university in Schleswig-Holstein meets the largest sailing event in Northern Europe. If you've ever wanted to know more about Kiel University, you should definitely come to “kieler uni live” 2023 during Kiel Week! From 17 to 25 June 2023, we will be transforming the Seeburg and the area in front of it at Kiellinie into a 500 square metre research area with a huge programme.

Experiment, marvel and discover - Kiel University comes from the campus into the city every day until 5 pm and offers research and science from up close. Everyone is welcome! Whether children with their parents, prospective students or everyday curious people of all ages.

Enjoy the “Science Show” with entertaining short talks from the most exciting areas of research or hands-on experiments like gluing archaeological potsherds, sports and language courses or laboratory experiments. With 200 study programmes, eight faculties, four research areas and two clusters of excellence, there are plenty of exciting people, stories and discussions to share. Admission is free, of course!
