Teaching philosophy
"My research is really always about clarifying what philosophical educational processes are, how they succeed and how this success can be promoted through teaching. We need to provide prospective teachers with concepts that help them to develop an appropriate self-image as philosophy teachers and also given them an idea of how to make school philosophy lessons meaningful. In terms of content, I am particularly concerned with the questions of what the meaningful thematisation of the content field of religion could be like in philosophy and ethics lessons, what contribution narratives make to ethical education, and what significance should be given to texts on philosophical history in school lessons."
