Parent-Child Work Room at "Biozentrum"

In cases of emergency, when you have to bring your child to work, there
is a parent-child working room at Kiel University (EKA). The room is equipped
with 2 computer workplaces with intranet access and has a children's corner
for playing and resting
If you are a student or employee of Kiel University you can reserve the
parent-child's working room by contacting aschmidt@uv.uni-kiel.de (tel:
880-2119) .

You can obtain the key to the parent-child's working room from Ms Kohrt
(tel. 880 4257) Mon. to Thurs. from 8 am to 12 pm in Room E46, Am Botanischen
Garten 7.
By using the EKA the user automatically accepts the conditions laid down
in the "Regulations for Use". The parent present is responsible
for his/her child at all times.

Eating and changing facilities
The Mensa I and Mensa II canteens each have a dining and playing area.
High chairs are also available in both canteens.
There is a changing table in Mensa I (extra room opposite the toilets)
where babies may also be breast-fed. In Mensa II the changing table is
in the ladies' toilets. Additionally there is a changing facility in the
parent-child work room in the Biology Tower (see point above)
Mobile toy box

The Family Office has purchased a mobile toy box. This can be used by
students and staff who have to take their child with them to the office
for a short period.
The toy box is available from the main entrance gate of Kiel University.
It can be borrowed under the conditions laid down in the Regulations for
