Quantitative and empirical science is the research foci of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Science. It also places particular emphasis on the interface of business studies and economics. The faculty collaborates closely with the Kiel Institute of World Economics. Furthermore, it is part of the Excellence Cluster Kiel Marine Science and SECC.
