The German Research Foundation (DFG) sets high standards regarding the quality of the research proposal. It also demands that the research is structurally integrated into the University. Furthermore, the DFG expects the university to contribute substantially to the scientific project. Therefore applications should be made in close collaboration with the Research Department. The DFG also expects a concept for equal opportunity measures. Consequently, applicants should also consult the equal opportunity commissioner, Dr. Iris Werner.
