ERA Nets: ERA-Net coordinates grants and the funding of national foundations within the EU. Various collaborations on different levels regarding States and themes are possible. Often, individual EU-States do not offer funding to those projects. Proposals from all partners must not only be sent to the relevant ERA-Net, they must also be handed in at the national funding organization (such as BMBF or DFG).
