  • 2008-2009 Telemetry of Black-legged Kittiwakes in the breeding colony of Helgoland, southeastern North Sea, collection of diet samples and breeding biology parameters
  • 2004-2006 Field studies for the PhD thesis, organisation and execution of various ship-based and aerial "Seabirds at Sea"-surveys in the German Bight, southeastern North Sea, hydrographic measurements during ship-based surveys
  • 04-08/2003 Field studies for the diploma thesis, various "Seabirds at Sea"-surveys in the German Bight, southeastern North Sea
