  • Räumlich-zeitliche Dynamik von Seevögeln in Schelfgebieten
  • Zusammenhänge zwischen abiotischen und biotischen Faktoren und Seevogel-Verteilungsmustern
  • Kurz- und langfristige Bestandsänderungen bei Seevögeln und ihre Ursachen
  • Wissenschaftliche Grundlagen im Konfliktfeld zwischen Meeresnaturschutz und Meeresnutzung (vor allem Fischerei und Offshore-Windkraft)
