Compile Seminars

Compiling seminars means adding and structuring existing learning modules to a given seminar.

This step-by-step instruction will guide you through the main actions to be performed to compile a seminar.

  1. Log into your Nickels account
  2. Switch to the administration area. There all seminars are listed (see fig. 1 below) - mouseover provides some information about a certain seminar e.g. the learning modules implied.
    [Administration Panel]
Fig. 1: The tutor's administration panel to choose editable seminars. Here two seminars are marked by link ('Nickels 'How to' and Demonstration' and 'test') - they are approved to edit by this tutor.
  3. Choose one of them which are marked by links - these ones are approved to edit (structuring, adding tutors or delete the seminar).
The administration panel on the startpage provides also up to three 'Recently used seminars'.
  4. In the seminar administration area you have the possibility to search for seminars via pulldown menu.
  5. Switch to tutor mode in the administration area to edit a certain seminar. Mark this seminar (see fig. 2 below). Hence, the content panel on the right provides some tabs with information, settings etc. (for further information click here!)
