PhD project	The Mesolithic in Western Lower-Saxony, Germany. Postglacial Hunther-Gatherers between Scandinavia and Western Europe (9600 BC to 3600 BC)
Research interests	Hunter-gatherer societies, stone technology, percetion and use of landscape, mesolithic, neolithization, postglacial environmental changes, underwater and wetland archaeology.
Education	Since April 2008 Associated member of the Graduate School „Human Development in Landscapes“ at the Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel. 2004 - 2007 Project assistant at the Westphalian State Archaeological Museum, Herne, involved in organizing the exhibition project "Climate and man. Life in extremes". Graduated 2004 Magister Artium at the University of Kiel. 2002 - 2004 Student in in prehistory, european ethnology and physical anthropology at the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel. During this time participation in several campaigns at submarine excavations in the Wismar Bight, Baltic Sea, Germany. 2001/02 Exchange student at the University of Aarhus, Denmark. 1998 – 2001 Student in prehistory, european ethnology and physical anthropology at the Eberhard-Karls-University of Tübingen, during this time participation in several excavation projects for example in Troy, (Turkey), Geelbek, (South Africa), Azé, (France).
