PhD project	Palaeoecological Studies for the Reconstruction of Human-Environment Interactions on Insular Sites in Schleswig-Holstein.
Research interests	Palaeoecology, vegetation history, climatic and environmental changes, lake level fluctuations, human-environments-interaction, land-use history, pollen, macrofossils, non-pollen palynomorphs, sediment analysis.
Education	Since April 2008 Associated member of the graduate school “Human Development in Landscapes” at the Christian- Albrechts-University Kiel. Since October 2007 Research assistant in the DFG (German Research Association) - project “„Funktionen von Inseln in den Binnengewässern der Holozänen Siedlungslandschaft Schleswig-Holsteins“ at the institute of Pre- and Protohistoric archaeology at the Christian- Albrechts-University Kiel. 2007 Graduated Thesis: „Palynological studies on the palaeoecology of forest and steppe of Khonin Nuga (Khentej-Mountains, N-Mongolia) in the Holocene“ at the Department of Palynology and Climate Dynamics at the University of Göttingen. 2001-2007 Study of Biology and Pre- and Protohistoric Archaeology, at Georg-August-University Göttingen, Degree: Diploma
Work experience	Since May 2011 Research assistant at the project “HelWin 1: Kompensationsmaßnahme Pollenanalyse – Paläobotanisch-bodenkundliche und archäobotanische Baubegleitung“. 2008 - 2011 Research assistant at the project „Die Hünenburg bei Watenstedt, Ldkr. Helmstedt, ein Herrschaftssitz in der Kontaktzone zwischen Lausitzer Kultur und nordischer Bronzezeit“ at the Department of Pre- and Early History, at the University of Göttingen. 2001-2011 Several botanical excursions and corings. 2007 Student research assistant at the Department of Palynology and Climate Dynamics at the University of Göttingen.
