Getting to the Kiel Campus

By automobile

From the south, take Autobahn A7 to the Bordesholm interchange, take the A215 to Kiel the city center.
From the north, take Autobahn A7 to the Rendsburg interchange, take the A210 to the Kiel city center.

In the Kiel city center, drive past the train station (Hauptbahnhof) and continue along the harbor to the Schleswig-Holstein University Clinic (UniKlinik S-H), Kiel campus. Parking spaces are marked on the map of the UK S-H Kiel campus.

Parking
Parking spaces in and around the clinic are very limited. Parking in the available designated visitor parking lots is subject to a parking fee.

By Train and Bus

The train station is approximately 2 Km from the Institute. For those who do not wish to walk, buslines 32, 33, 61, and 62 (traveling toward Wik) depart regularly from the train station to the clinic bus stop, Hospitalstrasse. You may also choose to take a taxi.

By Areoplane

Hamburg airport at Fuhlsbüttel: The airport is 85 km from the Kiel campus. There is a shuttle bus, the "Kielius", directly to the Kiel bus station which is next to the train station. From there, take a taxi or bus to the clinic (see above.)

Lübeck airport: The airport is about 90 km from the Kiel campus. Bus number 6 departs weekdays every 20 minutes, 30 minutes on weekends, from Blankenseer Straße across from the terminal for a 25 minute ride through the Lübeck city center to the bus/train station (ZOB/Hauptbahnhof). The train from Lübeck to Kiel takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
