The training school was organized and conducted by the department of Functional Morphology and Biomechanics of the Zoological Institute (Prof. Stanislav Gorb, Dr. Petra Ditsche-Kuru). Beside trainers from Prof. Gorb’s group (Henrik Peisker, Dr. Alexander Kovalev, Esther Appel), three external trainers were invited: Dr. Philippe Leclere from the University of Mons (Belgium), Prof. Alexander Filippov from the Institute of Physics and Engineering (Donezk, Ukraine) and Dr. Christoph Eberl from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany).
