The group is integrated in the Collaborative Research Center 877 (CRC 877) of the German Research Council (DFG) "Proteolysis as a Regulatory Event in Pathophysiology", central service project Z2 and Integrated Research Training Group (IRTG). With the project `Invertebrate model organisms´ dealing with the role of cytokines and cytokine receptors of the gp130 family, the group is involved in one of the major pipelines of the DFG-funded Excellence cluster `Inflammation and interfaces´

We are part of the International Max-Planck Research School on Evolutionary Biology (IMPRS). The Research school is an international graduate school dedicated to highest level research and training in all areas of contemporary Evolutionary Biology. Please click the link for further information.
