Hybrid session on Blue Justice/Marine Justice
In the context of the 4th EnJust (Network Environmental Justice) Meeting in Mexico and Online on the 6th October.
The Hybrid session on Blue Justice/Marine Justice in the context of the 4th EnJust (Network Environmental Justice) Meeting in Mexico will take place on Friday, October 6, 08:15 - 11:00 (MEX) / 16:15 - 19:00 (CEST), including two panels with simultaneous translation. It will be remotely accessible through the Zoom platform.
The session aspires to stimulate dialogue and reflection among researchers from the Global North and the Global South to integrate different positions related to Blue Justice, and to better understand the wide range of trajectories for building Blue Justice in specific geographical contexts.
The session has been co-organized by Johannes Herbeck (artec Uni-Bremen) and Victor Velázquez Durán (Instituto de Geografía UNAM) and financially supported by the Kellner-Stoll Foundation for Climate and Environment (Uni-Bremen).
