Free vaccination campaign on Tuesday – now open for everybody

Vaccinations on July  13 | 9:30am to 3:30pm

Below you will find concrete information as well as answers to frequently asked questions:

Organisational information:

  • The vaccination teams will start check-in from about 9:30 am, and vaccinating from about 10 am. You can come anytime during the day until about 3:30 pm. The vaccination campaign ends at 5 pm.
  • It is not necessary to make an appointment (first come, first serve).
  • We will inform you about the current occupancy of the vaccination line viaTwitter@kieluni. You can also ask current questions here. A news ticker can also be found on this page.
  • Be prepared for waiting time and bring a drink and weather-appropriate clothing for waiting outside.
  • Waiting numbers will be assigned on site if there is a large crowd. Stay close by of the vaccination line while you wait.
  • All adults who are interested may take up the offer.

For vaccination:

  • You can decide on the spot whether you want to be vaccinated with the Johnson&Johnson vector vaccine or the Moderna mRNA vaccine.
  • If vaccinated with Johnson&Johnson, only one vaccination is required.
  • If you have had your first vaccination with Moderna, you will receive an appointment for the second vaccination exactly 5 weeks later in August, also at the CAU campus (see below for dates).
  • During the second vaccination appointments in August, further first vaccinations will probably also be carried out. An appointment for the second vaccination must then be organised independently, e.g. via a general practitioner's practice or a vaccination centre.
  • It is possible to come exclusively for a so-called cross-vaccination if you have already received a first vaccination with AstraZeneca. This must be at least 4 weeks ago.

Bring with you:

  • Identity card (student card no longer necessary)
  • Vaccination passport (if available; if not, a replacement certificate will be issued)
  • the printed and completed vaccination documents (information sheet, declaration of consent)
