Within the SEA-EU Alliance the next upcoming online event will be on "Citizen Science and Blue Economy" with four different presentations with experts from different disciplinary background. This time the event is organised by the University of Cadiz. The overall objective is to facilitate the scientific exchange and networking within the alliance.
Researchers, from 4 institutions of the SEA-EU consortium, will show us excellent examples of projects that involved active citizen participation, such as Kieler KMS-Member Professor Nassos Vafeidis from the Department of Geography on "Coastwards" (University Kiel). The other speakers are Dr. Marjolaine Matabos on "Deep-Sea Spy" (IFREMER, partner institute of SEA-EU partner university Westbretagne (UBO) in Brest, France), Dr. Remedios Cabrera on "ECOFish" (UCA) and Professor Alan Deidun on "Malta's innovative cases" (University Malta).
