The next online event in the 9th edition of the SEA-EU BLUE TALKS Series is on the topic of "Maritime Transportation" and in English, and has been jointly organized by Kiel Marine Science (KMS) and the SEA-EU Alliance. Four different experts will give presentations on 27th October 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00pm. The aim of this event is scientific exchange and networking within the SEA-EU Alliance.
KMS member and professor Nele Matz-Lück, Vice President of Kiel University and Executive Director of the Walther Schücking Institute for International Law, will present about "Irregular migration via the sea: challenges for the law governing maritime transportation". Other speakers include Professor Luka Vukić from the University of Split (UNIST, Croatia), Professor Magdalena Jażdżewska-Gutta from the University of Gdansk (UG, Poland), and Professor David Gómez-Ullate Oteiza from the University of Cadiz (UCA, Spain).
