Due to face-to-face teaching in the summer semester 2022 and numerous construction measures in campus area A, the entrance road to the entire campus area A will be closed for private vehicles as from 11 April 2022 and will only be open for delivery / waste collection / construction site vehicles.

This is to ensure the safety of pedestrians and cyclists during the lecture period and also to make sure that emergency vehicles still have access.

Access is still possible for post vehicles, official vehicles and to get to the Kai-Uwe von Hassel Haus student residence (Ludewig-Meyn-Str. 15). Disabled badge holders can still use the disabled parking spaces, and authorised persons can continue to use the University Board’s guest parking area, the special parking at LMS 14 and the parking spaces for official vehicles on Hermann-Rodewald-Straße. The remaining parking spaces on Hermann-Rodewald-Straße will be made available for use by the construction site.

Please use the university’s parking spaces at the Wissenschaftspark (Science Park) and Laurispark or switch to other forms of transport (bike and bus).

It will be possible to park in campus area A again when the multi-storey car park opposite Mensa I opens, which is expected to be as from the end of 2022.

Thank you for your understanding.
