The thoroughfare has been closed since Monday 18 June 2018 via Max-Eyth-Straße towards Christinenweg from the observatory/development site onwards, for all traffic including pedestrians and cyclists. This closure will be in place until the end of the construction period in 2021. For bicycle or pedestrian access to the lower part of campus: please use the designated pathways route via Olshausenstraße and then via the Studierendendorf through to Christinenweg, or alternatively use Olshausenstraße.
The waste storage depot as well as the areas OHP 4 and MES 11-13 will remain accessible from Max-Eyth-Straße.
The entrance to campus from Kuhnkestraße will be controlled by a barrier system with height restrictions in future, and will only be for construction vehicles. It will be possible, however, for cars to leave campus here.
Please observe the signs and barriers on site.
Thank you for your understanding,
Your team at Facility Management
