Invitation to the lecture and awarding of the "Bay Areas Lecture" certificate to Stanford Professor Keith Hodgson

On Thursday 14 March 2019, CAU President Lutz Kipp will award the "Bay Areas Lecture” certificate for the first time, to Stanford Professor Keith Hodgson (Stanford University and the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory). In a specialist lecture at 6pm, Professor Hodgson will present scientific knowledge and tools related to the imaging of biological systems with X-rays and electrons at Stanford University and the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory.

On Friday 15 March 2019, the renowned professor of chemistry and synchrotron radiation will present a general lecture at 11am, in which he will offer innovative perspectives on research and teaching in the context of the Bay Area at Stanford University and the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory.

All university members as well as members of "The Bay Areas e.V." are invited to attend.

Both events will be held in English.
