Officers
- The central Equal Opportunity Commissioner considers the interests of female members of the university and supports the University Board in its work to establish equality between women and men in science and to remove discrimination against women from the university.
- The Officer for Diversity represents students’ and doctoral researchers’ issues and, within the framework of planning and organising studies and teaching, research, further education and administration, is the contact person for removing barriers and disadvantages that still exist.
- The Officer for Inclusion represents issues related to severely disabled people and ensures that the legal rights of the disabled, workers’ interest groups and the representative body for the disabled are respected.
- The representative for radiation safety advises and supports supervisors, managers and employees at the CAU on dealing with radiation.
- The Animal Welfare Officer’s tasks are regulated in Section 10 of the German Animal Protection Act (Tierschutzgesetz, TierSchG) and Section 5 of the Act Protecting Animals Used for Research Purposes (Tierschutzversuchstierverordnung, TierSchVersV).
