Central Committee for Gender Equality
The Central Committee for Gender Equality is a compulsory committee according to the Higher Education Act (HSG) and deals with the discussion, revision and adoption of the „equality plan“ as well as the allocation of funding for women, who, for example strive to achieve a habilitation. The election of future award winners in the field of thesis or doctorates with gender-relevant content is also part of the committee work. In addition, surveys and current incidents are discussed and if problems are identified, suggestions for solutions are discussed.
