The fulfilment of the tasks of the computing centre is subject to the supervision of the university board, advised by the advisory boards "Teaching, Services, Basic Services" and "Scientific Accounting, Digital Research Infrastructure".  The Committee on Information Processing shall send interested parties to these advisory boards.

Members:

• the head of the computer centre with the right of application and an advisory vote,
• one representative of each faculty, on behalf of the chairperson of the corresponding faculty committee, and another representative of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, appointed by the Dean,
• one representative of the central units,
• one respresentative of the central unit "Clinic" or of a state institute as a successor organisation,
• a representative of the institutes at the university that make significant use of the university's information infrastructure,
• two representatives from among those using high performance computers,
• five representatives of member groups according to Section 13 (1) No 2 to 4 High Education Law (HSG) at a ratio of 2 : 2 : 1.
