From 1993 to 1999 Sandra Freitag-Wolf studied statistics with subsidiary theoretical medicine at the Universities Dortmund, Bochum and Sheffield. Thereafter she worked with Professor Lutz Duembgen at the Institute of Mathematics at the Medical University of Lübeck on the DFG funded project entitled "Confidence Sets and Exploratory Tools for Analysis of Interval-Censored Observations". Since April 2001 she has been employed at the Institute of Medical Informatics and Statistics at the University Hospital Kiel. In 2003 she became an associated scientist in the Excellence Cluster Inflammatory at Interfaces and the research training group (RTG).
